ABOUT ME
On a daily basis, I’m always researching new things to learn about film, animation and the ways stories can be told. The one question that I always ask myself is how can I make a difference to the industry? How can we fall more in love with our characters than how the industry interprets a character's purpose in this time in history? While still maintaining the reason that animation exists to appeal all ages, why not add a little spice of realism so other voices can be heard?
How I approach this manner as of late is to explore as much life experience as possible so I can be creative with how possibilities can come out of the conflicts that people come across. Not only do I see characters and story to suit them, I hear the little details of how they sound when they pace in a room, how they breathe, how they react.
With a professional music background and a sensitivity to sound, I can arrange both music, sound effects, and visuals together.

COLOR SCRIPTS - MIGRATION
One of my assignments was to create a change in scenery using the same settings. My choice was the seasons, which accompany my characters' journey through the years. The choice of color is based on the sun's angle during the time of the year, and what mood usually reflects the season.
COLOR SCRIPTS - LIGHTING
With an illustration of Beaufort and Charleston combined, I created a color script on lighting that expresses what the viewer should feel when looking at the scene.
COLOR SCRIPTS - CONTRAST
While studying Colors Scripts, I have explored a selection of hue, warm and cool, saturation, monochromatic, and much more.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONCEPT
Inspired by the cityscape of Charleston, SC and Barcelona, I created a layout of the city to migrate from day to night and how the city is effected by the lighting. A full version of this piece is in a motion capstone below the Environmental Section.
MUSIC VIDEO PROJECT
Wearing a Styrofoam Head and with help from Professor Rohol for capturing my film directions, I successfully choreographed a music video to synchronize a viral song with a twist to something strange and peculiar.
TIME MOTION CAPSTONE 1
For a time lapse of a setting, I have put together a video using photoshop to piece four separate illustrations together using lighting and animation effects accompanied by calming music.
